Tooled leather turkey fan mount holster, floral tooled

This is a great gift for any turkey hunter who likes to mount their own trophies! It is a unique mount to make your turkey fan stand out in any trophy room. The tooled leather floral pattern features some flowers, flowy vines and leaves, and a flying turkey silhouette in the center. 

All you need is:
1. Your own (completley!) dried turkey fan
2. Expanding glue (such as gorilla glue...my favorite)
3. Heavy bricks and an old rag
4. A nail for hanging
5. A knife or file to shave down the tail bone so it fits properly in the leather holster.

This kit is a leather holster attached to a small piece of wood which has a wall hanger on it. You simply glue your turkey fan into the holster, let it dry, then hang it up.

Whether you are a DIY person or not, drying your turkey tail/fan is actually very easy to do, and so is mounting it with this leather holster.
Your tail needs to be cleaned, tacked out on cardboard, and packed with salt and a little borax until it is dried. Take care in how you spread it and tack it down; this will be your final look. You cant move the feathers once its dried. Drying may take several months. ..be patient!
