About ColoradoBrand Leather
Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my page!
My name is Erin. I'm a stay at home mom of 3 boys and part-time leather worker.
I've been doing leatherwork since 2002. I got my start in the Colorado 4-H Leathercraft program, and since then, leathercraft has been one of my favorite hobbies. I had to put it down for a few years, but I'm back in full swing... I just have a few extra helpers now!
I grew up on a farm, and some of the things I love are mountains, horses, quakies in the fall, Indian paintbrush, chickens, and creating really cool leather stuff.
The inspiration for my work comes from my Colorado roots; I grew up riding my Appaloosa all over the mountains. I did gymkhanas and trail rides in the summer and helped out in Elk camp in the fall. The rest of the year, we trained horses and raised sheep and goats. I've got roots everywhere it seem; Illinois, Pennsylvania, and, currently, we're in Ohio, but it's the western roots that have the strongest pull on me. Leatherwork allows me to let the western out while being stuck in Ohio.
